Jiménez Deredia in Shanghai

The city of Shanghai invited sculptor Jiménez Deredia to participate in the Jing’An International Sculpture Project, the city’s most prestigious cultural sculpture event. Jiménez Deredia places in the Jing’An Sculpture Park the Genesis in white marble statuary called “Canto a la Vida”, 10 meters long and weighing 20 tons. The work was inaugurated on September 19, 2012. The offices involved in culture, radio, cinema and television, tourism and urban planning in the city sponsored the event.
