Crepusculo for Avenida Escazú

On February 15th 2010, Jiméne Deredia inaugurates his new monumental sculpture “Crepúsculo” in the modern architectural complex of Costa Rica “Avenida Escazú”. The completed work of art weighs more than 1000 kg and its measurements are 2.70 x 1.70 x 1.65 m. The piece is inspired by the woman as an icon of motherhood and life, the pre-Columbian stone sphere as an atavistic symbol of the culture of her native country, Costa Rica
